Matching chiller HP to plunge volume
October 26, 2026
Catalog tables list published PlungePod or bathtub volume ranges beside rated classes (for example Pro 1/2HP through 2.0HP, Ultra 1.0–2.0HP, STD 1/3–1.0HP, Mini ~100–200 L reference). These ranges help shortlist a class; they are not verified cooling-time claims under defined ambient conditions.
Practical matching steps:
- Measure actual water volume of the tub or plunge you will run.
- Note target temperature and whether heating is required.
- Confirm electrical supply options for the shortlisted SKU (110V/60Hz and 220V/50Hz pairs appear in several tables — mapping must be confirmed).
- Review noise, dimensions and installation clearances from the series page.
Where catalog and IFU dimensions differ, retain both notes and request the final model drawing before installation planning.
